13 Boulders (8" +-)
20 Large (4" +-)

83 Medium (3" +-)
Cannot find my photo of these!
100 Small (2" +-)

53 Tiny (Under and Inch +-)
By type rocks:
9 Painted by accident
4 that I altered

9 Purchased gems

6 Folk
1 Missing
And already counted within the groups above, I selected and separated out:
15 Favorites, which includes:
1 Mascot
I could not leave out my final Fan Club:
1 Fan Club which is a group of 13, and not included in count of 365.

End Note ~ July 23 2016 ~ One Year Later
I have enjoyed this blog and this entire project. I only missed 2 days of posting, and posted immediately yhe next day. I did not think I could really do it, but I did. I got bogged down in the 200's, feeling like it would never end, but when it got into the later 300's, I got excited again and tried harder to look for special rocks.
I started to put more rocks in my house (not included in the project) and learned about rocks from other people. I found that there were people on the internet who enjoyed my rock a day posts.
My intention was to put together a photo book of the rocks -- not sure if that will happen now -- doing the project was satisfying as it is, and I am thrilled to have done it.
Here is a photo of me with all 365 rocks and then a little chorus of hurrah rocks as well.
All in all, a fun time! Thank you for your audience time!

Rock 356 ~ Chester ~ July 15 2016 ~ Salinas CA
I walked most of the day. Literally. But did not rock-hunt until this evening when I took my cousin's dog Chester for a walk around the block. He is a darling little Corgi. We found this rock that I named after him because he is also a long shape. This rock is 1/24th the size of a standard tri color Corgi.

Rock 353 ~ Spumoni Rock ~ July 12 2016 ~ Salinas CA
My cousin wasn't sure I should really rescue this rock, as it was in the landscaped area of the Downtown Salinas Burger King on Main Street. If they want it back I can give it up, or I can offer a replacement. But I fell in love with it, so I took it. Just took it. Measures approximately 2 3/4".

Rock 349 ~ Home Grown ~ July 9 2016 ~ Claremont CA
I have many rocks in Claremont that came from other areas. It is hard to find a local rock in my yard sometimes, amazing as that is in the land of Claremont Potatoes, where you vcan hardly dig an inch without hitting a rock. This little one is typical of the ilk here, so I selected it for today. Measures approximately 1".
