Ahhhh back to the land of beautiful rocks. I spotted a number of them this color today but chose this one for its color AND shape. Measures approximately 3 1/4" long.
I went to Estate Sales this weekend, which is something I do for my resale business. One estate sale had a case of various small rocks such as this one, so I asked for one and they threw it in as a freebie "gift with purchase". Obviously it is polished turquoise. I would love to find turquoise in its original location sometime. This is highly polished on one side, and measures approximately 1 1/2".
When I looked down, this rock looked just like a heart. It looks a little less so away from the ground, but it still has a heart-like ambiance. The best thing about this rock is that the back of it is a hump that fits perfectly right into the palm of my hand. Sweet. Measures approximately 3 3/4". (big heart!)
I actually found this in my home town, where there is seldom a rock to find other than granite. Did it work its way from the ocean or did it hitch a ride with someone? I will never know. Holy-moly rock has holes everywhere! Measures approx 3".
This rock shows what can happen if you hang out in the dirt for months. The top is nice and white after a day's rain yesterday. The bottom...well, even the rain couldn't ash the soil stains off of it. Measures approximately 2". Post it.
This is a very flat and very sandy rock. I am not sure where it came from, but I picked it up out of my stash of wonder-rocks. It is approximately 2 3/4" and very off-white.
