Rock 74 ~ Consolation Prize Rock ~ Oct 4 2015 ~ San Luis Obispo CA

This rock hails from San Luis Obispo from a home on a little street called Bluebell Lane. I once owned the land this rock was on - for a very short time. When I sold the land I wanted some solace - some consolation prize -- so of course I looked to the rocks! I loaded as many as I could put on the floor of my little car, and toted them to Southern California, where they grace my garden. 
I chose one of these as my post for the day. Smooth, dark gray, heavy, and about 3" long.
