My family always had horses, and I feel a bit of sentiment about this. We had bays and sorrels, and my own childhood horse was a jet black hand-me-down from my brother, who had named him "Silky". And although no creamy white horse ever graced our fields, this rock stirred in me some images of a Palomino, and hence:
Today my rock selection is a spotty translucent white stone found on a beach filled with smaller versions of this rock type.This rock measures approx 3" long and has a tiny hole the size of a pin head on one side.
