Rock 22: August 12 2015 ~ Morro Bay CA ~ Morro Rock

Today I pondered the huge mass called Morro Rock. I wondered if any of the rocks I pick up are relatives of it. I drove North a bit to a beautiful strand of beach and found this lovely green and variegated rock. It measures approx 2 inches long, and  I wonder if it is related to Morro. The photograph is not as green as the rock. Nice heft to it too.
